The REDCap Team is launching the new model of support for REDCap, in stages, over the months of July and August, 2023.
- Stage 0 - June 15:
- Notified non-research projects about the new model of support.
- Stage 1 - August July 1 to August 7th:
- Transition all existing research projects to the new model of support:
- All existing research projects transitioned to the Supported Service for Research support track.
- All existing non-research projects transitioned to the Supported Service for Non-Research support track.
- Send notifications to existing projects about key components of the the new model of support.
- Note: Continued use of REDCap by the existing projects will be considered acceptance of the terms and conditions for the respective support tracks as outlined in this page and Support Tracks page.
- By August 7th:
- Implement the new supplemental intake process for new research projects, which includes builders completing a builder's agreement and PIs completing a terms of service.
- Launch the Self-Service for Research support track so study teams requesting new research projects will be to select Self-Service when creating their new project.
- Transition all existing research projects to the new model of support:
- Stage 2 - August 14th
- Start processing new project requests for new non-research data collection initiative using the new supplemental intake process for new non-research projects and the Supported Service for Non-Research support track.
- Until August 14th, new non-research projects for new data collection initiatives are on hold.

*To ensure a successful transition to the new model of support, and due to staff scheduling, we will be launching the enhanced support component of the Supported Service for Research support track on October 16th.
